Lesson One:  James 1: 1-27, “The body of Christ, Exhortation and Instruction”

Important Consideration: The theme of the body of Christ, exhortation and instruction begins with a greeting from James to the Jewish Christians who are spread out, outside of Palestine. James sends the Christians a letter of wisdom, encouraging them to persevere in faith knowing that the testing of their faith will produce patience (James 1: 1-3).

Lesson Five:  James 5: 1-20, “The Prayer of Faith”

Important Considerations: James warns the rich against oppressing the poor. Tells the poor saints who are waiting on the Lord to be patient, and to pray in faith.
